Joined in the position of trainee Civil Engineering Draughtsman. Qualified three years later resulting in my being acquainted in drawing office procedure, with a substantial knowledge of Engineering activities which included the following:-
- RC Detailing;
- Ben ding Schedules;
- Structural Steel Detailing;
- Longitudinal and Cross Sections for Roads, Railways and Pipelines;
- Area and Volume Calculations;
- Transition Curves;
- Circular and Vertical Curves for Railways and Roads;
- Levelling and Surveying;
- Plotting of Surveys (Lo and Local System);
- Co-ordinate Calculations;
- Water, Sewerage and Storm-water Drainage;
- Practical Engineering in Building Design and Construction;
- Writing of Specifications;
- Site supervision and Inspection, and
- Office Correspondence.
Often lectured in computer literacy including DOS, Lotus 123, DBaseIII, and computers in general.
