Main Activities / Tasks included:
- Culture: Responsible for the development and maintenance of a positive culture and working environment within the company;
- Training: Recruit, train and develop staff to ensure ongoing availability of competent selling, administration and management teams;
- Motivation: Motivate, guide and control the activities of centre staff by ensuring that all subordinates are aware of, and are committed to, agreed goals and strategies;
- Sales: Prepare sales, margin, expense and profit budgets for the company on an annual basis within the parameters of the company objectives;
- Sales & Marketing: Control and administration of a competitive pricing, discount and trading term policy, which meets customer requirements, whilst maintaining company profitability;
- Sales & Marketing: Develop and implement plans to achieve and better the turnover / margin targets for the company;
- Marketing & Advertising : Keep abreast of customer requirements to ensure that the company is perceived as a professional, customer-orientated supplier;
- Operations & Administration: Ensure that operational and administrative procedures are adhered to so that an even flow of information and documentation is maintained between HO and the Centres;
- Debtors & Creditors: Ensure that an effective debtors control system is maintained;

- Working Capital: Ensure that Centre stockholding levels are appropriate and within target
- limits;
- Operations: Maintain image of Centres in accordance with laid down requirements.
