BE a Business Broker

BE A BUSINESS BROKER: Being a Bastion Business Broker will afford you HUGE earning potential. Full training will be provided and the barriers to entry (particularly cost) are ridiculously low. Once trained, you can pursue the opportunity full time or part time. The secret of the success behind the model is quite simply "being networked". The commission structure (see below) is dependent on your involvement: from the "easy" option, where you refer the opportunity to Head Office (and we do all the work), to the more challenging route, where you conclude the transaction yourself (and, in so doing, earn the lion's share of the commission (commission split described below)), what you do is up to you. So, what have you got to lose? Become a Bastion Business Broker and create wealth beyond your wildest dreams! It's educational, exciting, and you meet new people all the time. Every opportunity is different and unique (no blue print here!), and this in itself is very exciting.

BUSINESS MODEL: Many business brokering groups sell franchises who, in turn, appoint brokers. We don't sell franchises. Rather, we keep the structure as flat as possible. So we train and appoint Business Brokers directly under the principal. Arguably, these Brokers receive the same "package" as competing franchisees, but at a fraction of the cost (see below). Brokers work directly with Head Office for whatever they need. The model is "flat", dynamic, supportive and flexible. It has low barriers to entry, so that the principal can rely on increased turnover, tighter margins (with the lion's share going to the broker), and it's NOT geographically constrained.

COSTS: A business brokering franchise could sell for between R51,3K and R114K (incl.) or more. Because we appoint Business Brokers, and don't sell franchises the cost of being a Bastion Business Broker is R5K (excl.). As we've said before, this buys a very similar "package" to the any other business brokering franchise, and equips you with the full "tool-box" to be a Business Broker. There are NO monthly royalties. There are NO monthly costs for the support and maintenance of the website.

COMMISSION SPLIT: There are numerous split models. For every deal concluded, 5% of the total commission goes to the company who is hanging together and maintaining the web site. Their incentive is to make the site as "awesome" as possible in order to get more hits, drive more traffic to the site, and thus conclude more deals. The site is "live", with new mandates being loaded all the time - I have every confidence that the site will become more "alive, aggressive and functional" as we progress into the future. So, 5% (not negotiable) goes to the web site maintenance. Thereafter there are two main commission split models. The first is if you, the Broker, do nothing more than refer business to Head Office and we (HO) do all the work, from the initial mandating of the business to closure. In this event 5% goes to the site maintenance company, 20% goes to you, the broker (for the referal), and 75% goes to HO (who did all the work). BUT, this is not what we want. We will work with you, and continually train Brokers, to be confident enough to get into a position which realises the broker maximum commission, being the next model. Again, 5% goes to the web site company. Thereafter, because you, the Broker, have done all the work, you get 80% of the commission, and HO gets the remaining 15% (for their training, brand, advertising, etc.). Fair? I think so!
